Sofia Stateczny completed her Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Design at Hochschule Anhalt, where she explored the potential of mycelium as a sustainable alternative material for furniture panels. Building on this foundation, she is now part of the Materiability Research Group’s Inmyco project, where she is developing a circular economy system utilizing agricultural waste products for the repurposing of mycelium in the state of Saxony-Anhalt. Sofia’s work focuses on innovative solutions that promote sustainability and resource efficiency in design and manufacturing.
