Mehrbod studied computational design as his first Master. Now he is a Master’s student in Integrated Design at the Anhalt University of Applied Science. He is passionate about working on the intersection of architecture, computational design, virtual reality, and robotics. Mehrbod has also done several architectural and urban design projects during his career as a freelancer and a senior architect. Moreover, projects like Hexadome and Flexible Formwork are part of his portfolio that can show his enthusiasm for digital fabrication. In 2017, he was part of a group that established Pars Io-CAD fab-lab, still providing affordable educational content, CNC, and 3D printing services for design students. Alongside his focus on design and fabrication, he also has experience in construction management when he was in charge of two renovation projects. In April 2022, he joined the Materiability Research Group as a tutor.
