Nadia Elkady


Nadia is an Egyptian Designer who obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Product Design from the German University in Cairo. She has several years of professional experience under her belt in the fields of 3D printing, furniture design, as well as teaching. After teaching Form Generation, Form and Material, Rhino 3D, as well as Lighting Design, she decided to become a part of the Master of Integrated Design Program at the Dessau Department of Design. After obtaining her degree in February 2021, she continues to teach at Hochschule Anhalt.
In her designs and studies, she focuses mainly on sustainable product design, material experimentation, and cutting-edge fabrication techniques. She has joined the Materiability Research Group in October 2020 with her Master thesis on biomaterials.
