My research interest covers smart material, 3D CAD/CG, and human computer interaction. For several years, I worked at Lattice Technology and spent my time for developing a new solid modeling technology called XVL. In 2004 I started working at Keio University. I have founded x-DESIGN program, a graduate program for design engineer and media artist. My current interest is the fabrication of programmable matters to bring the expression of computer world to the real world. Especially I am interested in textiles, papers, and macromolecule.
