Chin Koi Khoo

Dr Chin Koi Khoo is the co-founder of the multidisciplinary design studio – Metamosaic which focuses on the fields of architectural visualization and animation. As a design director of Metamosaic for the past eight years, Dr Khoo gained significant experience in architectural and interior design projects. These projects include eight residential design works such as boutique houses and high rise apartments. He is currently a recipient of an Australia Postgraduate Award and completed a PhD at the Spatial Information Architecture Laboratory (SIAL), RMIT University under the supervision of Prof. Mark Burry, Dr. Jane Burry and Dr. Flora Dilys Salim. His current research is exploring adaptive kinetic architecture using responsive material systems involved morphing building skins and their performances to revitalise existing architectural space as reciprocal interventions. He has lectured and taught at RMIT University and University of Melbourne, Australia.
