Luke Franzke is a design researcher and teaching assistant at the Zurich University of the Arts. He completed a BA in Multimedia at Victoria University in 2006 and worked for several years as a UI designer and developer primarily in online training and learning. Through the MA in Interaction Design program at ZHDK he joined the the Enactive Environments Group. As member of the group he developed electronic interfaces from ephemeral materials to uncover ways of rethinking materialistic relations to technology. His primary interest is to engage hobbyist and designers in emerging material technologies and to embrace the creative process of experimentation.
