Gabriela Gonzales Faria
Architect graduated at the Institute for Advanced Architecture in Catalonia (IAAC). I'm currently developing a research project involving urban planning and its effects in quality of life, sponsored by PIEB - Holland. After graduating with a degree in Architecture at Universidad Privada Santa Cruz (UPSA), I have collaborated with different firms - Caracol, Punto Alto, Avanzza - developing traditional architectural design, and the construction of their projects. I have been awarded at international and national architectural competitions, such as 'Copa Arquitectura' organized by Architecture for Humanity, at Argentina. Recently completed Master Degree studies in Advanced Architecture (MAA - IAAC), focused on Digital Tectonics, which is my main interest for developing further researches. During the Digital Tectonics research studio, my team and I developed a research project focused on hemp fiber and its hygroscopic behavior, which became a pavilion proposal: 'Hygro Pavilion", located at Collserola park, Barcelona.
